SISTAR's Soyou Debunks Plastic Surgery Rumors, Attributes Changes to Makeup and Weight Loss

Former SISTAR member and singer Soyou has directly addressed and put to rest rumors of plastic surgery. In a recent YouTube video uploaded on the 11th to her channel 'Soyougi,' she appeared makeup-free to tackle the speculation surrounding her altered appearance.

Soyou acknowledged the online comments suggesting she had undergone cosmetic procedures, particularly due to her significant weight loss. While finding the suggestions amusing, she expressed her delight at the perceived transformation. She specifically refuted claims of lip fillers, stating, "I haven't had lip fillers. Without cosmetic work, my lips look the same as before." She also explained that unnatural-looking lips in some photos were due to unsuccessful makeup application.

Further elaborating on facial changes, Soyou mentioned that her eye sockets appear more sunken when she loses weight or feels tired. She then proceeded to share her detailed makeup routine, revealing a technique that makes her lips appear twice their actual size, emphasizing that skillful makeup can create significant visual changes. Soyou encouraged those insecure about their lips to try her method.
