The blockbuster film 'F1 The Movie' continues its phenomenal run, maintaining a spot in the Top 5 at the box office even three months after its release. According to the Korean Film Council's Integrated Network of Film Attendance, the movie surpassed the 5 million viewer mark on the 13th, accumulating a total of 5,013,445 admissions.

Released on June 25th, 'F1 The Movie' achieved this milestone on its 81st day of screening. This ranks it as the second highest-grossing film of the year in South Korea, following 'Zombie Daughter,' and marks an unprecedented achievement for a foreign film.

Globally, the film has also been a massive success. It debuted with $55.6 million in North America and a worldwide opening of $144.4 million, making it the highest-grossing Hollywood original live-action film in the past five years. This accomplishment also signifies the best box office performance in lead actor Brad Pitt's filmography.

The film's popularity is equally strong domestically. Despite facing competition from major summer releases, it consistently stayed within the Top 5. The recent re-release in IMAX format has further drawn audiences back to theaters. The film has particularly thrived in premium formats like IMAX, 4DX, and ScreenX, accounting for 22.3% of its total revenue, surpassing films that only had standard digital screenings.

As of the 13th, 'F1 The Movie' has grossed over 53.4 billion Korean Won (approximately $40 million USD) domestically, surpassing 'Zombie Daughter's' 52.5 billion Won. This makes it the highest-earning film of the year in South Korea based on revenue. Currently, it remains in the Top 10 for real-time ticket reservations, standing out as the only non-new release in the ranking, raising anticipation for further record-breaking achievements.

Brad Pitt stars as Sonny Hayes, a veteran driver returning to the F1 world, delivering a compelling performance that resonates with audiences. This role marks a career-high in box office success for the veteran actor. Pitt is known for his diverse range of successful films, including 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' and 'World War Z.'
