&TEAM's Yuju and Maki to Take the Mound at Jamsil Stadium

Global group &TEAM, under HYBE, is set to grace the Jamsil Stadium mound with members Yuju and Maki participating in the ceremonial first pitch and hit.

Their agency, YX Labels, announced on the 14th that Yuju will throw the first pitch and Maki will take the batter's stance for the baseball game between the Doosan Bears and the Kiwoom Heroes on the 16th in Seoul.

Expressing his honor, Yuju, a self-proclaimed Doosan Bears fan, stated, "I will send powerful energy so that the players can have a great game without injuries." Maki also shared his excitement, saying, "I am happy to be able to participate as the hitter with Yuju hyung. I will do my best to become a fairy of victory."

The two members are diligently practicing their pitching and hitting to deliver an unforgettable moment to the fans attending the game.

&TEAM, a boy group that debuted in Japan in 2022 with full support from HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, has achieved significant success. Their third single ‘Go in Blind’ topped both the Oricon daily and weekly charts and received a 'Million' certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. Recently, they sold out their solo concert at the Seoul Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, proving their immense popularity in Korea as well.

This first pitch and hit event is a meaningful occasion for &TEAM to connect with their domestic fans ahead of their official Korean debut. The group is scheduled to release their first mini-album ‘Back to Life’ on October 28th, marking the beginning of their full-scale activities in Korea. They aim to expand their reach globally, starting from Korea, the heart of K-pop, continuing their journey as a 'global group.'

&TEAM is a 9-member boy group that debuted in Japan on December 7, 2022. The group was formed through a collaboration between HYBE, Japanese hit producer Hisashi Satoshi, and producer Bang Si-hyuk. The group's name '&TEAM' signifies that nine boys from different worlds come together as one 'team.'
