The 4th episode, aired on the 14th, saw Yoon I-rang (Park Min-young), James (Park Hee-soon), and Myung Gu-ho (Joo Jong-hyuk) expose the dark underbelly of star art critic Yoo Myung-han (Lee Yi-kyung), orchestrating a grand con to dismantle his wealth and reputation.

The episode detailed how Yoo Myung-han gained notoriety by reporting the master forger Kim Yong-bok (Choi Hong-il). Yoon I-rang, realizing she was being used, devised a plan to uncover the 'Yoo Myung-han List,' a ledger of illicit funds.

On the day of a charity auction party, James, disguised as security personnel, incapacitated the guest singer and their manager before taking the stage himself. Yoon I-rang infiltrated the event as a representative from a top auction house, while Myung Gu-ho posed as a third-generation chaebol. They witnessed firsthand Yoo Myung-han profiting immensely from a secret auction.

During the after-party, Yoon I-rang lured Yoo Myung-han to his office, enabling Myung Gu-ho to obtain the safe's combination and erase CCTV footage. Although they successfully retrieved a USB drive from the safe, they faced imminent danger of being caught. James created a diversion with a spectacular performance, allowing Myung Gu-ho to escape.

Back at their hideout, 'Team Confidence Man' discovered from the USB that Yoo Myung-han was involved in a forgery ring, supplying drugs to aspiring artists and subjecting them to verbal and physical abuse.

Myung Gu-ho learned the full extent of Yoo Myung-han's cruelty from Kim Bo-ra (Jung Yoo-joo). Inspired by an artist's words, Yoon I-rang conceived a brilliant new plan.

In their next move, Myung Gu-ho requested art appraisals from Yoo Myung-han. The critic was enthralled by 'Seascape' by artist Cheon Myung-shin, deciding to auction it. During the auction of Cheon Myung-shin's works, Kim Bo-ra's mother (Park Myung-shin) stood up, revealing herself as the real Cheon Myung-shin and astonishing Yoo Myung-han. Kim Bo-ra then confessed that she painted the pieces, undermining Yoo Myung-han's scheme. It was revealed that Kim Bo-ra had created the 'Cheon Myung-shin' paintings using the forgery workshop's oven.

As an enraged Yoo Myung-han approached Kim Bo-ra, her mother incapacitated him. Simultaneously, footage of Yoo Myung-han's forgery operation, his abusive behavior, and his own ridiculous antics in the bathroom were broadcast, leading to his public humiliation.

Ultimately, Yoo Myung-han was arrested for kidnapping, extortion, bribery, and drug trafficking, providing viewers with a highly satisfying resolution.

Meanwhile, Yoon I-rang, upon finding traces of Yoo Kang-il on Yoo Myung-han's USB, deleted the files with a trembling hand, her expression turning somber. Arriving at an abandoned mansion with James's assistance, Yoon I-rang's past trauma of being kidnapped resurfaced, intertwined with flashbacks of James's younger self, deepening the mystery surrounding their connection.
