Actor Lee Jun-young recently appeared as a guest on the web entertainment show 'Ko So-young's Pubstaurant,' sharing candid thoughts on his career and future aspirations.

During the broadcast, Lee Jun-young surprised viewers by revealing his impressive martial arts skills, holding a total of six dan in Taekwondo, Special Attack Martial Arts, and Hapkido. When asked about performing action scenes, he stated, "As much as possible, I try to do them myself without the help of stunt actors," highlighting his dedication to the craft. He even admitted that the minor injuries sustained in the process bring him a sense of satisfaction.

Lee Jun-young also spoke fondly of his role as Geum Seong-je in the drama 'Weak Hero,' mentioning that his son particularly admired the character. He described the villain's compelling charm, which made it easy to root for him despite his antagonistic role, leading to deep immersion in the project. He further discussed his intense portrayals in Netflix series like 'The Glory' and 'Mask Girl,' showcasing his versatile acting range by embodying complex characters in the former and a boundary-pushing persona in the latter.

He credited the growth of the OTT market for enabling him to take on diverse roles. Lee Jun-young expressed gratitude to director Han Jun-hee of 'The Glory' for giving him the confidence to take on challenging parts, likening it to being "pushed off a cliff." He also acknowledged the impactful nickname "Handsome Trash" from 'Mask Girl,' recalling the experience of fully immersing himself in that character.
