When asked about performing action scenes, he stated, "As much as possible, I try to do them myself without the help of stunt actors," highlighting his dedication to the craft. He even admitted that the minor injuries sustained in the process bring him a sense of satisfaction.

Lee Jun-young also spoke fondly of his role as Geum Seong-je in the drama 'Weak Hero,' mentioning that his son particularly admired the character. He described the villain's compelling charm, which made it easy to root for him despite his antagonistic role, leading to deep immersion in the project. He further discussed his intense portrayals in Netflix series like 'The Glory' and 'Mask Girl,' showcasing his versatile acting range by embodying complex characters in the former and a boundary-pushing persona in the latter.
