Kim Yi-kyung Joins TVING's 'Dear X', Set to Clash with Kim Yoo-jung

Actress Kim Yi-kyung has been cast in the TVING original series 'Dear X'.

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, Kim Yi-kyung will portray 'Shim Sung-hee', the high school rival of the protagonist Baek Ah-jin (played by Kim Yoo-jung), adding tension to the narrative.

Shim Sung-hee is a character who induces conflict with feelings of inferiority, jealousy, and obsession towards Baek Ah-jin. She is expected to transcend a simple villain role with her multi-faceted emotional depth. Kim Yi-kyung is anticipated to meet the high expectations of original webtoon fans with her nuanced performance.

Since her debut in the 2018 drama '100 Days My Prince', Kim Yi-kyung has garnered attention as a rising actress by demonstrating her versatility in various projects such as 'Sweet Home', 'See You in My 19th Life', and 'My Sweet Dear'. She received critical acclaim for her sincere acting in her first leading role in the film 'Unnie'.
