Rowoon Recounts Memorable Encounter with Leonardo DiCaprio: 'You've Seen My Early Work?'

K-pop idol and actor Rowoon has revealed a fascinating anecdote about meeting Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio, sparking considerable interest.

In a YouTube video posted on the 'VIVO TV' channel on the 16th, Rowoon appeared as a guest and shared various stories.

During the show, host Song Eun-yi inquired about Rowoon's encounter with DiCaprio, referencing photos of them together at an event posted on social media.

Rowoon explained that he met DiCaprio by chance at an event called the Met Gala in Los Angeles. "DiCaprio, whom I admire greatly, was there. He mentioned he had seen my work as an actor from Korea," he recalled.

DiCaprio then asked which of his films Rowoon had enjoyed. "I mentioned 'Total Eclipse,' which I filmed when I was younger," Rowoon stated.

To his surprise, DiCaprio responded, "You're the first person to tell me they've seen 'Total Eclipse' among my films," Rowoon shared. This unique experience left Rowoon feeling inspired, contemplating, "Perhaps one day, I too can become someone like that to someone else."

Rowoon debuted in 2016 as a member of the K-pop group SF9, concurrently pursuing acting roles. He has solidified his acting career with notable performances in dramas such as 'Until the Law' and 'My Dearest.' He is currently reviewing scripts for his next project.
