Kim Yoon-ji Entrusts Childcare to In-Laws Lee Sang-hae & Kim Young-im on 'The Return of Superman'

Singer and actress Kim Yoon-ji has revealed her candid daily life, entrusting the care of her daughter to her in-laws, veteran comedians Lee Sang-hae and Kim Young-im.

In the KBS2TV variety show 'The Return of Superman' aired on the 17th, Kim Yoon-ji's close relationship with her in-laws, who live in the same villa, was showcased. Viewers were surprised as Kim Yoon-ji headed directly to the 9th floor where her in-laws reside, instead of her own home. She casually entered their home by inputting the security code, stating, "Sharing the password is a must."

Her in-laws' home was already equipped with baby essentials for her daughter Ella, including a high chair and toys. "We visit so often," Kim Yoon-ji explained nonchalantly. Her mother-in-law, Kim Young-im, prepared a hearty meal of braised short ribs and seaweed soup for Ella. Ella, nestled in her grandmother's arms, inadvertently made her grandfather Lee Sang-hae feel a bit left out.

Due to an overseas schedule, Kim Yoon-ji had asked her in-laws to look after Ella. Her schedule involved a photoshoot for a global fashion brand, where she impressed with her fluent English communication with the Korean branch president, receiving praise for boosting both sales and brand image. Her slender figure, standing at 168cm and weighing 47kg, also drew admiration from the studio guests.

Meanwhile, Lee Sang-hae hilariously struggled to entertain his granddaughter Ella, eventually retreating to the security guard's office for coffee, grumbling, "If Kim Young-im were here, I wouldn't have to do anything." Kim Yoon-ji lightened the mood by sharing, "Our villa feels like a community hub. Sometimes, Father is in the security office," eliciting laughter.

Kim Yoon-ji married her husband, Choi Sung-min, who is 12 years her senior, in October 2021, and they have a daughter named Ella. She previously promoted under the name 'Lime' with 'LABOUM' member Solbin and has recently been active as an actress. She is gaining attention for her excellent English skills and fashionable sense.
