MONSTA X's Minhyuk to Lend His Voice as Audio Guide for Suwon Museum of Art's 10th Anniversary Exhibition

Lee Min-hyuk, a member of the popular K-pop group MONSTA X, is continuing his unique journey as an 'art-tainer' by participating in a significant art exhibition.

According to his agency, Starship Entertainment, Minhyuk will serve as the audio guide for the exhibition 'Moments That Stay, Hearts That Flow,' a special showcase of Korean modern and contemporary art celebrating the Suwon Museum of Art's 10th anniversary.

The exhibition features works by renowned artists such as Na Hye-seok, Park Soo-geun, Im Kun-hong, Park Rae-hyun, and Cheon Kyung-ja, representing pivotal figures in Korean modern art history. The exhibition runs from November 26th to January 11th of next year, allowing visitors to scan QR codes within the venue with their mobile devices to freely listen to Minhyuk's guided narration.

Since his debut in 2015, Minhyuk has consistently expressed a deep passion and interest in art. He has customized clothing and accessories with his own drawings and calligraphy, and notably hosted the Naver NOW. show 'Vogue Ship Show' for 18 months, showcasing his impressive drawing skills while interacting with listeners and guests.

In 2023, he collaborated with street artist Doezny and the beverage brand Mountain Dew for an exhibition. Following his military discharge, he further solidified his status as an 'art-tainer' by participating in the '2024 K-Fair in France,' where he held an art talk show featuring his own paintings.

Minhyuk shared his enthusiasm, stating, "I am grateful to the Suwon Museum of Art for the opportunity to participate as an audio guide for such a meaningful exhibition. I am happy to contribute to introducing Korean modern and contemporary art, and it is an honor to be a part of its 10th anniversary year with my voice." He added, "I ask for your great interest and support for the 'Moments That Stay, Hearts That Flow' exhibition."

Meanwhile, MONSTA X recently concluded their successful comeback promotions for their new mini-album 'THE X,' marking their first full group comeback in approximately five years.

Minhyuk has consistently demonstrated a profound artistic sensibility beyond his musical talents. His engagement with visual arts, including painting and calligraphy, highlights a multifaceted creative spirit. Fans eagerly anticipate his contributions to the art world, recognizing his dedication and skill.
