Actor Park Jung-min is receiving enthusiastic praise from audiences for his perfect portrayal of dual roles in director Yeon Sang-ho's new film, 'Face'.

In 'Face,' Park Jung-min takes on the challenging task of playing both Im Young-gyu, a young man born visually impaired who lives by crafting beautiful seals, and his son, Im Dong-hwan. His performance has been lauded with compliments such as having 'swapped faces'.

Park Jung-min had previously explained his decision to take a break from acting on a variety show. He revealed that seeing a familiar expression on his face in the mirror, one he recognized from his film roles, made him question his craft and decide to rest for a while. This period was intended for recharging to pursue even more profound acting.

Fellow actor Hwang Jung-min humorously opposed Park Jung-min's break, exclaiming, "Don't rest, you idiot!" He playfully added that the company would lose money if Park Jung-min wasn't working.

Similarly, fans are sending Park Jung-min strong messages of support, echoing "Don't rest, you idiot!" This sentiment stems from the fact that Park Jung-min's portrayal of the two distinct characters—Im Young-gyu from the 1970s with a dual nature, and Im Dong-hwan living in the present—is considered irreplaceable.

Viewers have showered the film with praise, including comments like, "Park Jung-min's dual-faced acting was excellent," "Park Jung-min might even win an Oscar," "He absolutely crushed the one-person, two-role performance, Park Jung-min, what break... act like crazy," and "Park Jung-min is truly insane. How does he set a new acting high with every project?"

Meanwhile, 'Face' tells the story of Im Young-gyu, who becomes a master craftsman of seal engraving despite being visually impaired, and his son Im Dong-hwan, as they investigate a mystery surrounding the death of their mother, buried for 40 years.

Park Jung-min debuted in the 2011 film 'Bleak Night' and has since showcased a wide acting spectrum in numerous films and dramas such as 'Dongju: The Portrait of a Poet,' 'Keys to the Heart,' 'Svaha: The Sixth Finger,' 'Hellbound,' and 'Twenty.' He has established himself as a 'trustworthy actor' in Chungmuro with his solid acting skills, consistently receiving acclaim from the public and critics for his complete immersion in each character.
