ITZY Renews Contracts Early with JYP Entertainment, Sells Out 4th Fan Meeting

All five members of ITZY are continuing their journey with JYP Entertainment. The group held their fourth official fan meeting, 'ITZY The 4th Fan Meeting MIDZY, Let's Fly! "ON AIR"', on September 20th at the KBS Arena in Seoul. The event achieved a complete sell-out, demonstrating the immense popularity and enthusiastic response from fans.

Adding to the excitement, Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna announced their early contract renewals with JYP Entertainment during the fan meeting. "We decided to renew our contracts together as a way to repay the great love and gratitude we feel," the members shared. "This decision was made possible thanks to MIDZY. We wanted to be the first to share this news as soon as we all agreed to continue together. We hope to create many more good memories and happy moments with MIDZY in the future. Seven years feels too short. There's still so much we want to do together. We've decided to stay by each other's side, just as we always have," they expressed sincerely.

The fan meeting kicked off with ITZY performing their hits 'ICY' and 'DALLA DALLA', aligning with their 'IT'z SUMMER' theme. Embracing the 'ON AIR' concept, the stage was designed as a broadcast station, adding a unique and fresh element. The members transformed into various roles like camera director, stylist, audio director, art director, and writer, enhancing the immersive experience. Their mission to fix audio and subtitle errors provided moments of laughter.

The performances continued with 'SNEAKERS' and 'Kiss & Tell', followed by solo stages and group covers that showcased each member's individual charm. Lia performed tuki.'s 'Bansanka', Yeji covered Nayeon's 'ABCD', Yuna sang IU's 'Twenty-three', Chaeryeong performed Gain's 'Bloom', and Ryujin presented Jung Kook's 'Standing Next to You'. They will release their new full-length album 'Collector' in Japan on October 8th and hold their fourth official fan meeting, 'ITZY The 4th Fan Meeting MIDZY, Let's Fly! "ON AIR"', in Tokyo from November 11th to 13th. This will be their first solo fan meeting in Japan since their debut, marking a significant milestone.
