Kickflip Debuts New Album 'My First Flip' with Exciting Showcase

K-pop group Kickflip has successfully concluded their showcase for their third mini-album, 'My First Flip,' marking a significant return for the quartet.

At the press event held at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the morning of the 22nd, Kickflip shared their thoughts on their comeback and introduced their new music. The album, 'My First Flip,' centers around the theme of a slightly bumpy, yet memorable first love, promising to heighten fans' excitement.

The title track, '처음 불러보는 노래' (Song I'm Singing for the First Time), is an upbeat dance track rooted in pop-punk, featuring a dynamic blend of synth sounds and guitar riffs. It vividly portrays the fluttering emotions and confession of a first love, delivered with Kickflip's signature energetic style.

Dong-hyun, who participated in writing and composing the title track, expressed his gratitude, stating, "I was able to create a better song through collaboration with amazing composers and producers. I was delighted when the members loved the song." Ju-wang added, "I practiced with a smile, wanting to convey the excitement of first love to our fans through our performance." K-joo shared his affection for the song, saying, "When I first heard it, I felt like the protagonist of a youth comic. It's a very immersive and great song."
