Actor Jang Gwang is currently enjoying a relaxing reward vacation in Vietnam following the conclusion of the drama 'The Tyrant's Chef'.

On the 8th, comedian Mi-ja shared several photos on her social media from her father Jang Gwang's vacation.

Mi-ja wrote, "Dad went on a reward vacation to Vietnam because the drama 'The Tyrant's Chef' did so well. I was so worried when I couldn't contact him for just half a day!! Since then, Dad has been sending real-time photos, while my brother shows zero interest. I burst out laughing at my brother's KakaoTalk messages. Wishing my beloved dad good health." The post included photos of Jang Gwang.

The released photos show Jang Gwang smiling on the traditional palace set during the drama filming, alongside actors Yoona, Lee Chaemin, and Park Jun-myeon. The cast members who worked together on 'The Tyrant's Chef' showcased their warm teamwork and strong bond while dressed in traditional Hanbok.

Jang Gwang also shared photos taken at the resort in Vietnam in the family group chat, expressing his excitement: "The beach is so beautiful. They say the beach is 20km long. It's a UNESCO site."

Meanwhile, tvN's 'The Tyrant's Chef' is a romantic fantasy drama depicting chef Yeo Ji-young (played by Lim Yoona) time-traveling to the past and meeting the king with an absolute palate, Lee Heon (played by Lee Chaemin). The final episode, which aired in September, garnered significant love, recording a viewership rating of 17.1% nationwide and a peak of 19.4% according to Nielsen Korea.

The 'The Tyrant's Chef' team is reportedly enjoying their reward vacation at the Meliá Danang Beach Resort in Da Nang, Vietnam, to commemorate the drama's successful run.
