Channel A is generating buzz with its new sports entertainment program 'Baseball Queen,' as two formidable former athletes, Kim Minji and Shin Sooji, are officially confirmed to join the cast. Set to premiere this November, the show will follow a unique women's baseball team composed of retired female athletes from various sports disciplines. Guided by manager Choo Shin-soo and team leader Park Se-ri, Kim Minji and Shin Sooji successfully passed interviews and physical tests to become official members of this groundbreaking team.

Kim Minji, often dubbed 'Athletics Karina,' is a decorated track and field athlete, having secured first place in the 400m and 400m hurdles at the 2018-2019 National Sports Festival. She plans to leverage her exceptional running skills to dominate the bases in baseball. Shin Sooji, known as the 'Rhythmic Gymnastics Goddess' who represented South Korea at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, is expected to bring her inherent flexibility to both offensive and defensive plays, building high anticipation among viewers.

The production team of 'Baseball Queen' teased that more 'legendary' athletes from diverse fields are slated to join the lineup. Helmed by PD Shin Jae-ho ('Steel Unit W') and writer Kang Suk-kyung ('Physical 100' Seasons 1 & 2), the program promises an engaging journey of growth and determination as these women conquer the uncharted territory of women's baseball.

Shin Sooji is a renowned former rhythmic gymnast who represented South Korea at the Beijing Olympics and Guangzhou Asian Games. After retiring from competitive gymnastics, she successfully transitioned into a career as a professional bowler and television personality. Her versatile talents and engaging personality have made her a beloved figure in Korean entertainment.
