Lee Soo-hyuk's agency, Saram Entertainment, has stepped in to clarify details surrounding his recent fan meeting in China, after reports suggested the actor worked for an excessive 12 hours. The agency stated that the event, which included rehearsal observation, the main performance, and fan benefits like photo opportunities and high-touches, actually lasted approximately seven hours in total.
Responding to media reports, particularly from Taiwan's EBC, which claimed Lee signed autographs for thousands of fans for nearly 12 hours, Saram Entertainment emphasized that the actor was deeply involved in the preparation of the fan meeting, which marked his first in-person meeting with fans in ten years. The agency explained that the extended duration was due to the overwhelming enthusiasm of the fans and Lee's desire to reciprocate their passion, and that he remained until all fans had safely departed as per the organizer's request.
The agency also acknowledged that the venue's air conditioning was insufficient, leading to uncomfortable temperatures, and assured that future events will be meticulously planned to ensure the comfort and well-being of both artists and fans.
