Lee Mi-joo has shared the surprising story behind the formation of her close-knit friend group, dubbed '94z'.

During the broadcast of JTBC's entertainment show 'Knowing Bros' on the 6th, Lee Mi-joo detailed how her friendship with Heo Young-ji led to bringing together Red Velvet's Seulgi and Oh My Girl's Hyojung, creating the '94z' crew.

Heo Young-ji recounted how their bond began with mutual support during breaks in their respective group activities, eventually leading to Lee Mi-joo's invitation to gather. Lee Mi-joo explained her reasoning: 'It was getting tiresome meeting everyone individually, so I suggested we all meet up at once.' However, Heo Young-ji playfully retorted, 'Are you distorting it for the broadcast? Didn't you say you were too lazy to meet us separately?' causing laughter.

The members also discussed their cost-sharing arrangements. Heo Young-ji mentioned proposing a split payment system to avoid one person bearing the entire expense. Lee Mi-joo then confessed that she tends to be a generous spender when drinking. 'On our first '94z' meeting, I'd had a few drinks and excitedly declared I'd pay for everything. We ordered sake, and the bill came to 1 million won. Kind-hearted Hyojung and Seulgi offered to split it, but Heo Young-ji asked, 'Why are you paying half? Mi-joo said she was covering it all,' which elicited more laughter.

Lee Mi-joo is a South Korean singer and television personality. She gained initial fame as a member of the girl group Lovelyz. Currently, she is a highly popular solo artist and a frequent fixture on various variety shows, known for her candid and humorous personality. Her versatility and engaging presence have earned her widespread recognition.
