Actor Jin Tae-hyun has completed a half marathon, an inspiring feat achieved just 76 days after undergoing surgery for thyroid cancer.
On July 7th, Jin Tae-hyun shared photos on his social media account, announcing his participation in a running race with his wife, Park Si-eun. The images documented their race and confirmed his successful completion of the half marathon.
Despite his time being 20 minutes slower than his personal best, Jin Tae-hyun described it as the 'most wonderful race of my life.' He added, 'On the 76th day after my thyroid cancer surgery on June 24th, I ran hard to reaffirm my commitment not to give up on my dreams.' He also sent a message of comfort and support to those facing hardship, stating, 'If there is anyone who is struggling, feeling depressed, or experiencing deep pain, I may not know the depth of your struggles, but I pray that you endure and overcome. The world doesn't know us anyway, so we have no choice but to push through. I encourage everyone to look up at the sky and take another step forward.'
