Sunmi Reveals Shocking Past Weight on 'Salon Drip 2': 'I Weighed as Little as 41kg'

Singer Sunmi made a surprising revelation about her past weight fluctuations during an appearance on the YouTube channel 'Salon Drip 2'.

In the episode released on the 9th, titled 'Not a Born Soloist, But I Want to Date,' Sunmi shared that she was once so underweight that her agency would provide her with medicinal tonics out of concern.

She confessed that during her 'Gashina' promotions, she weighed 43kg, and for 'Heroine,' it dropped to a staggering 41kg. Sunmi expressed her joy at gaining weight to 52kg after her first world tour, finding her curvier figure beautiful.

However, with her recent comeback concept featuring instrumental performances, she decided to slim down again. Sunmi explained that it took several years to return to her previous weight range and that she is currently back in the 40kg range.

When asked about her ideal type, Sunmi described someone with 'strong features, like Matt Damon,' and emphasized that she prefers someone with a healthy and sound mentality. She humorously denied Jang Do-yeon's suggestion that her ideal type might be JYP's Park Jin-young.
