Sunmi Clarifies JYP's 'Severance Rumors': "Only Happened Once in First Relationship, Met Only Good People After"

Singer Sunmi has directly addressed rumors of a falling out with JYP Entertainment's Park Jin-young.

Appearing on the YouTube channel 'Salon Drip 2' on the 9th, Sunmi shared her thoughts on dating, stating her relationship experience could be counted "on one hand" and that her ideal type is someone "healthy and sound in mind." She also revealed her dating style, admitting, "If I like someone, I show it. If contact is maintained, it means I've given my all,".

Regarding the past 'severance rumors' suggesting Park Jin-young distanced himself due to concerns about her dating habits, Sunmi clarified, "That happened only once, with my very first relationship." She emphasized, "I've only met good people since then," and expressed frustration over recent short clips circulating the issue.

Sunmi expressed gratitude towards her fans for their "loving concerns" as they've watched her since her early days. She further entertained viewers by mentioning, "I can't stand ambiguous relationships (ssohm)," proving her energetic 'dancing girl' persona to fans.
