K-Pop group BOYNEXTDOOR has achieved another significant milestone in Japan, earning a Platinum certification for their second Japanese single, 'BOYLIFE'.

According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), 'BOYLIFE' surpassed 250,000 units in shipments, securing the prestigious Platinum award for September. This marks the second consecutive Platinum certification for the group in Japan, following their debut single 'AND,' which also achieved the feat in July of last year.

The single 'BOYLIFE' made a strong debut on the Oricon charts, selling approximately 346,000 copies in its first week and topping both the weekly single ranking and the weekly combined single ranking. Notably, BOYNEXTDOOR is the only overseas artist this year to achieve over 300,000 first-week sales and secure the No. 1 spot on the weekly single chart. The album explores themes of youthful love and confidence, with the Japanese original title track 'Count To Love,' co-written by member Taesan, praised for its relatable lyrics and upbeat melody.

Looking ahead, BOYNEXTDOOR has been appointed as global ambassadors for the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship and is set to perform at the opening ceremony in Manila, Philippines, on the 12th. They are the first Korean artists to be named ambassadors for this international volleyball event.

BOYNEXTDOOR is a six-member boy group formed under KOZ Entertainment, debuting in May 2023.

Their music often blends hip-hop elements with relatable storytelling, showcasing their songwriting and producing talents.

The group is known for its approachable "neighbor boy" concept, resonating with a wide global audience.
