Jung Woo-sung to Make First Public Appearance Post-Marriage at Buil Film Awards Handprinting Ceremony

Actor Jung Woo-sung has chosen the Buil Film Awards as the venue for his first official public appearance following his recent marriage.

The 34th Buil Film Awards announced the participants for the handprinting event scheduled for October 18th. This ceremony, established in 1958 and revived in 2008, honors the legacy of Korean cinema.

This year's event will feature a special Yoo Hyun-mok Film Arts Award recipient, actor Jang Dong-gun, recognized for his role in 'Every Common Family' which embodies the realist and humanist spirit of the late director Yoo Hyun-mok. The awards ceremony will present accolades across 16 categories, including the Actor of the Year award.

Previous awardees from the 33rd Buil Film Awards, including Jung Woo-sung (Best Actor), Kim Geum-soon (Best Actress), and Lim Ji-yeon (Best Supporting Actress), will also be present for the handprinting ceremony, adding to the star-studded affair. The event will be livestreamed on Naver's Chirzizik and NaverTV.

Jung Woo-sung debuted in the 1994 film 'The Fox with Nine Tails'.

He has garnered widespread acclaim for his diverse acting performances across various genres of films and dramas.

Recently, he directed and starred in the film 'Hunt' and made his directorial debut with 'A Man of Reason' in 2023.
