DJ Boom and veteran entertainer Lee Kyung-kyu engaged in a heated exchange during a live broadcast on SBS's 'Han-tang Project' on the 11th.

The segment featured Boom's radio show, 'FM Boom Boom Power,' with surprise guests Lee Kyung-kyu, Tak Jae-hoon, Choo Sung-hoon, and Han La (Lee Soo-ji) visiting his studio.

What began as a seemingly friendly visit quickly escalated as Boom's demeanor shifted. While initially welcoming, Boom started making pointed remarks, questioning Tak Jae-hoon's appearance and referencing past alleged conflicts with Lee Kyung-kyu, much to the guests' discomfort.

Tak Jae-hoon attempted to lighten the mood by bringing up rumors of a past falling out between Boom and Lee Kyung-kyu, which Boom denied. However, Tak Jae-hoon continued to stir the pot by recalling an incident where Boom allegedly bad-mouthed Lee Kyung-kyu after being promised a hosting gig that turned out to be a birthday party.

Boom expressed his displeasure, stating he didn't want to dwell on negative topics before his radio show. Despite his discomfort and pleas to stop, Lee Kyung-kyu and Choo Sung-hoon added to the pressure.

Seemingly seeking retribution, Boom adopted a confrontational tone throughout the broadcast, criticizing the guests. During a song battle, he directly challenged Choo Sung-hoon's unpreparedness, leading to a back-and-forth with Tak Jae-hoon. The argument intensified, with Boom eventually asking the guests to leave.

The situation culminated in Choo Sung-hoon tearing Boom's shirt, prompting a "Broadcast Ban" graphic to appear. Lee Kyung-kyu declared they wouldn't return, leaving Boom humorously calling for the police.

Boom debuted in 1997 with the idol group 'Click-B' and has since established himself as a versatile entertainer, excelling as a singer and solo artist.

He is widely beloved as a radio DJ for his sharp wit and energetic hosting style, earning him the title of 'Nation's MC' through various variety show appearances.

Recently, he has embarked on new challenges as a variety show host, including his participation in 'Han-tang Project.'
