G-Dragon's agency, Galaxy Corporation, has reaffirmed its firm stance against malicious defamation and the spread of false information targeting the artist. The company announced on the 12th that through fan tip-offs and continuous monitoring, they have identified numerous posts containing malicious slander and defamation. They are actively cooperating with law enforcement to pursue legal action.
Galaxy Corporation has enlisted the services of Yulchon, one of Korea's top four law firms, to meticulously monitor online communities and social media platforms. Fan-submitted evidence is also being utilized as crucial grounds for legal proceedings. The agency emphasized that legal measures, including criminal charges, will be taken against all illegal expressions, not just the artist's real name but also including phonetically spelled names, initials, and nicknames that could identify him.
The company issued a stern warning that creating unverified rumors or posting malicious content is a clear illegal act, punishable under the Information and Communications Network Act and the Criminal Act. Galaxy Corporation pledged to continue its thorough monitoring and legal actions to protect G-Dragon's rights.
