Comedian Jung Ju-ri became emotional and shed tears on the Channel A show 'My Golden Kids' after receiving a diagnosis from parenting expert Dr. Oh Eun Young.

The episode featured Jung Ju-ri's challenging daily life raising her five children. During the broadcast, Jung was observed adopting a gentle rather than a firm approach when interacting with her kids, a parenting style that Dr. Oh identified as a lack of assertiveness.

The difficulties were particularly evident during a dental visit, where the children's distress caused Jung considerable anxiety. Afterward, she confessed, 'I'm struggling. As a mother, I should be comforting them, but I feel my own expression makes it harder for them.' She also shared a past experience with her second child, recalling, 'My mother told me to hold on tight, but I couldn't breathe; it was that difficult.'

Dr. Oh Eun Young analyzed Jung Ju-ri as someone highly sensitive to others' perceptions and unable to speak harshly, often choosing to endure and take on burdens herself. The expert suggested her career as an entertainer might have amplified these tendencies.

Dr. Oh offered comfort by stating, 'Public opinion cannot be controlled. Trying too hard to please everyone will lead to exhaustion.' This resonated deeply with Jung, leading to her tears. The show concluded with Dr. Oh advising Jung to cultivate a stronger mindset, emphasizing, 'I've done my best, and children at this age behave as they do naturally.'

Jung Ju-ri, born in 1985, is a South Korean comedian who debuted in 2005 on the SBS show 'Smile People.' She married her husband, who is one year her junior, in 2015 and is a mother to four sons and one daughter. She is currently active in parenting-related programs, including 'My Golden Kids.'
