Jewelry's Lee Ji-hyun Shares Update on New Career as a Hair Designer: 'The More I Do It, The More Fun Hairdressing Becomes'

Former Jewelry member Lee Ji-hyun has expressed her satisfaction with her new career path as a hair designer.

On the 12th, Lee Ji-hyun posted on her social media, sharing her passion for hairdressing. "The more I do it, the more fun every aspect of hairdressing becomes. While customer satisfaction is most important, I find myself loving the process of creating," she wrote. "As my skill level improves, I believe customer satisfaction will naturally rise as well."

She further elaborated by introducing styling examples of her clients, expressing her gratitude. For her first client, she performed a magic setting perm with a C-curl and side bangs. For a third client, she provided root touch-ups and a cut, resulting in a luxurious color. For a second client, a cut and magic setting perm with a C-curl created a sophisticated vibe.

Accompanying videos showed Lee Ji-hyun meticulously rolling perms and carefully examining the clients' hair. She was seen intently checking the heat settings while seated at her desk, followed by a reveal of before-and-after photos of her clients, showcasing her burgeoning skills.

Meanwhile, Lee Ji-hyun experienced two divorces in 2016 and 2020 and has one son and one daughter. She began pursuing her national hair stylist certification in November 2023 and recently announced her successful qualification after 1 year and 3 months of effort, marking a successful new chapter.

Lee Ji-hyun debuted in 2001 with the highly popular group Jewelry. After transitioning to acting in 2006, she appeared in various dramas and variety shows. She is currently raising her two children while working as a hair designer.
