Top model Jang Yoon-ju has shared a remarkable anecdote about how she helped put an end to the harsh 'bullying culture' that once permeated the modeling industry.

Appearing on the YouTube channel 'Salon Drip 2' on the 16th, Jang Yoon-ju recalled the past, stating, "There was a time when seniors would gather and discipline their juniors. I always wondered why we had to do that."

She revealed that while she had many juniors under her, including Han Hye-jin, she found Han Hye-jin particularly intimidating even at a young age. Despite pressure from seniors to 'discipline the juniors,' Jang Yoon-ju and fellow model Song Kyung-a hesitated, eventually calling the juniors together reluctantly.

However, when faced with their juniors, Jang Yoon-ju and Song Kyung-a were so intimidated by Han Hye-jin that they burst into laughter instead. This unexpected turn of events transformed the planned disciplinary session into a 'laughter party,' and Jang Yoon-ju believes this incident marked the beginning of the end for the bullying culture in modeling.

"We promised each other not to create such an atmosphere going forward," Jang Yoon-ju shared, admitting, "Honestly, it was easier to be scolded than to scold others." She also mentioned her preference for communicating feedback through text messages after organizing her thoughts, rather than direct confrontation on set, as she finds it difficult to speak harsh words like 'Are you crazy?'

Jang Yoon-ju is not only a leading supermodel in South Korea but also actively pursues careers as a singer and actress. She also dedicates her time to nurturing the next generation of models as a professor at the Seoul Comprehensive Arts School. Her candid and confident personality has earned her widespread affection from the public.
