Actor Couple Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun Donate Mushrooms Rice Worth ₩10 Million
Actor couple Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun are setting a commendable example with their meaningful charitable act.
As ambassadors for the Milal Welfare Foundation, the couple announced on the 18th that they have donated 758 bags of 'Yeonggeureo Farm's Bowie-gang mushroom rice', valued at approximately ₩10 million.
The donation is of a health food product that the couple became acquainted with through their YouTube channel, 'Park Si-eun Jin Tae-hyun's Little TV', where they shared daily stories. The Bowie-gang mushroom rice is known to be rich in beta-glucan and anthocyanins, beneficial for cancer prevention and immune system enhancement.
The donated rice will be distributed to 'Bethany Hill', a residential facility for the severely disabled, and 'Light of Life Hometown', a welfare home for the elderly, both operated by the Milal Welfare Foundation. This initiative aims to support the healthy dietary life of individuals with disabilities and senior citizens. Notably, Jin Tae-hyun, who recently underwent cancer surgery and is recovering, participated in this act of sharing with a heart full of gratitude.
A representative from Jin Tae-hyun, Park Si-eun, and Yeonggeureo Farm stated, "Although it is a small gesture, we hope it will be of some help to the disabled and the elderly in living bright and vibrant daily lives," and added, "We will continue to practice sharing and good deeds whenever possible."
Jin Tae-hyun made his acting debut in 2002 with the KBS drama 'School 4' and has since showcased impressive performances in various projects. He married fellow actress Park Si-eun in 2015, and they have one daughter. The couple actively engages with fans by sharing their daily lives through their YouTube channel.
