Kim Yong-bin's Fan Cafe 'Sarangbin' Donates Over 82 Million KRW for His Birthday

The official fan cafe of trot singer Kim Yong-bin, 'Sarangbin,' has donated 82,930,808 KRW to the Korea Social Welfare Society to celebrate his birthday, the organization announced on September 20th.

This donation marks the largest amount raised in the shortest period since the launch of the Korea Social Welfare Society's fan club donation campaign. The funds will be used to support various vulnerable groups in Korea, including children, children with disabilities, youth preparing for independence, single-parent families, and the elderly.

Fans shared their motivation, stating, 'The sense of accomplishment from our previous fundraising for wildfire victims inspired us to come together again. We wanted to help neighbors in need while celebrating the singer's birthday.'

Kang Dae-seong, president of the Korea Social Welfare Society, remarked, 'The positive influence of singer Kim Yong-bin has empowered his fandom to create a positive culture of celebrating special days through donations. A 'Mister Trot 3' winner, Kim Yong-bin is actively engaged in music activities, including national tour concerts and the release of his new song 'Yesterday and Today You' produced by Young Tak.
