Crayon Pop's Choa Reveals Twin Babies Are Boys, Expresses Excitement

Choa, formerly of the K-pop group Crayon Pop, has shared the exciting news about the gender of her soon-to-arrive twin babies.

On the 18th, Choa revealed on her social media, "Finally revealing the gender of the twins!!" She explained that they are identical twins and that she learned their gender through a NIPT test.

She further stated, "We prayed for our precious babies to be healthy, no matter their gender. Many followers told us that my husband and I looked like we'd have daughters, but Heart and Cute will be sons." Choa admitted she personally leaned towards hoping for twin daughters, having grown up with sisters herself, but believes sons will be just as wonderful.

She noted that her dreams and morning sickness symptoms seemed to foreshadow having sons. Choa expressed her current joy in imagining how adorable they will be once they arrive, saying, "Heart and Cute, please just be healthy!!" She also playfully asked seasoned mothers for parenting tips, adding, "Mothers of sons, you're saying I can still live like a princess, right...? Please shower me with your best parenting advice!!!"

In an accompanying video, Choa and her husband were seen joyfully reacting to the confirmation that they are expecting twin boys. Choa, who married a businessman six years her senior in 2021, was diagnosed with cervical cancer during her first year of marriage. After undergoing a fertility preservation surgery in 2023, she successfully conceived on her first IVF attempt. Her rare case of conceiving identical twins through natural splitting, against a 1% probability, has garnered significant attention. Her due date is set for March next year.
