MBC's entertainment program ‘How Do You Play?’ will unveil the surprising song selections of the contestants for the 80s Seoul Music Festival in its upcoming broadcast on the 20th.

PD Yoo Jae-suk, along with writers Haha, Joo Woo-jae, and Lee Yi-kyung, will announce the chosen songs at the pre-competition festival and inspect the rehearsal site for the main contest.

Previously, Park Myung-soo’s choice of ‘Because I Love You (Yoo Jae-ha)’ and Park Young-gyu’s rendition of ‘We (Song Chang-sik)’ had already generated significant buzz.

Notably, Lee Jun-young, known for his shy personality, is set to stir up the atmosphere with an unexpectedly bold song choice, heightening anticipation. Given his past recommendations from Yoo Jae-suk and Haha for a dance performance, attention is focused on what he will actually choose and whether it will be so impressive that Yoo Jae-suk jumps to his feet.

A male and female contestant pair, the only mixed-gender duo, will also appear. Formed through the male contestant’s enthusiastic pursuit, this team demonstrates a lack of synchronization during rehearsals, leading to humorous moments. They express their desire for an award, raising curiosity about their identities.

Strong contender Yoon Do-hyun is set to challenge himself with a song he has never sung in his career, while IVE’s Liz, the youngest contestant, has chosen a song that draws high expectations from Yoon Do-hyun. With contestants choosing songs that reflect their strong will to win, from those with perfect synchronization to others making unconventional choices, Yoo Jae-suk was reportedly amazed, exclaiming, “What a fantastic selection.”

Lee Jun-young, who debuted in 2017 with the group U-KISS, has balanced his music career with acting. He has proven his acting prowess by taking on lead roles in numerous productions, including 'Imitation,' 'Dear Distant Lover,' and 'Love Buzz.' His portrayal of a villain in 'The Glory' Season 2 also received widespread acclaim.
