Comedian Kim Byung-man Ties the Knot Again, Finding Happiness After Divorce

Comedian Kim Byung-man (49) is embarking on a new chapter in his life after overcoming the pain of divorce.

Kim Byung-man will be holding his wedding ceremony today, July 20th, at the Semit Island Rooftop on Hangang Park in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The non-celebrity bride and groom will exchange vows in a private ceremony, blessed by both families and close acquaintances.

Comedian Lee Soo-geun, a close friend of Kim Byung-man, will officiate the wedding, while singers KCM and Choo Dae-yeop are set to perform celebratory songs.

Previously, Kim Byung-man married a non-celebrity in 2010. However, the couple began living separately in 2012, and after initiating divorce proceedings in 2019, their separation was finalized in 2023. During the divorce process, allegations of domestic violence were made by the ex-wife's side, but both the police and prosecution ultimately dropped the charges with a no-indictment ruling.

Kim Byung-man currently has two children with his ex-wife. He recently shared his family life with the public through the TV CHOSUN program 'Joseon's Lovers,' receiving considerable support. On the show, he stated, "I was cautious about going out due to public attention, but I've changed my mind. I will no longer hide and will be proud to be with my children," expressing a firm resolution.

Kim Byung-man was born in 1975 and debuted as a comedian through SBS in 2003. He gained immense popularity for his role as 'Dal-in' (The Master) and established himself as a top comedian in Korea. Recently, he has been actively appearing in various entertainment shows, experiencing a second peak in his career.
