Kwon Sang-woo Left Speechless After Forgetting Wedding Anniversary
Actor Kwon Sang-woo found himself in a humorous predicament after forgetting his wedding anniversary, much to the amusement of his wife, Son Tae-young, and their dining companions.
A recent episode of Son Tae-young's YouTube channel, 'Mrs. New Jersey Son Tae-young,' featured a dinner outing with the couple and Julia, Son Tae-young's English tutor, along with her husband.
The conversation naturally turned to relationships, with Kwon Sang-woo inquiring about how Julia and her husband met. Julia shared their story of meeting in graduate school, dating for two years, breaking up, and eventually reuniting 14 years later to get married.
When asked about their own marriage, Kwon Sang-woo playfully commented on the 11-year-married couple being 'newlyweds.' However, the atmosphere shifted when Julia asked about their upcoming anniversary. Kwon Sang-woo confidently responded, 'November,' which immediately drew laughter and confusion from everyone at the table.
Son Tae-young playfully questioned his answer, 'What? November all of a sudden?' while Julia probed, 'Who did you have it with?' Kwon Sang-woo, flustered, attempted to cover his mistake by mentioning his mother's birthday, but Son Tae-young revealed his usual forgetfulness, stating, 'He always does this. If you ask him when our anniversary is, he says September 26th!'
Kwon Sang-woo, born in 1976, debuted in the movie 'Volcano High' in 2001. He has since become a top star, widely recognized for his charismatic presence and action roles. He is married to actress Son Tae-young, and they are parents to a son and a daughter. Beyond acting, he actively engages with fans through various entertainment programs and online content.
