Yoon Hyun-min Seeks Wedding Duet from Ballad King Shin Seung-hun

Actor Yoon Hyun-min has made a special request to Shin Seung-hun, the legendary ‘King of Ballads.’ During the recent broadcast of SBS’s entertainment show ‘My Little Old Boy’ (My Ugly Duckling), Yoon Hyun-min was seen heading somewhere with a bouquet of flowers, looking quite nervous.

It turned out he was visiting Shin Seung-hun, who has been his music mentor and teacher for a long time. The two first met as mentor and mentee on a music program and have maintained a strong connection ever since. Shin Seung-hun praised Yoon Hyun-min’s consistent practice, acknowledging his genuine passion for music.

Yoon Hyun-min responded with sincerity, calling Shin Seung-hun his idol and revealing his fan-like behavior, such as calling him early in the morning or listening to his music during drinks. He then cautiously brought up his request: “I have a favor to ask regarding a wedding song.”

He explained that he was asked to sing a celebratory song at the wedding of his half-brother, born from his father’s remarriage after his parents’ divorce. This led him to seek Shin Seung-hun’s guidance for the performance. Shin Seung-hun expressed surprise upon hearing about Yoon Hyun-min’s half-brother, and Yoon Hyun-min conveyed his tender feelings for his sibling, referring to him as his ‘aching finger.’
