SHINee's Onew to Bloom on Japanese Music Scene with Second Mini-Album 'SAKU'
Onew, a member of the popular K-pop group SHINee, is set to captivate Japanese fans with the release of his second mini-album, 'SAKU', on October 1st.
The album title 'SAKU' is inspired by the Japanese word '咲く(saku)', meaning 'to bloom'. It features a total of five tracks, including the title song '花のように(Hana no you ni)' and others like 'KIMI=HANA', 'Lily', 'Beautiful Snowdrop', and ''Cause I believe in your love'.
Each song in the album unfolds a floral-themed storytelling, promising a rich musical bouquet that is expected to delight listeners. The entire collection aims to create a cohesive and beautiful experience, much like a vibrant floral arrangement.
Ahead of the album's release, Onew unveiled three versions of concept photos for 'SAKU' through his agency's official social media. These images showcased Onew's versatile charm, harmonizing with various colors and embodying different floral concepts, further building anticipation for the comeback.
Onew debuted in 2008 as a member of SHINee, quickly establishing himself as a standout vocalist. As a solo artist, he has consistently explored diverse musical styles with albums like 'VOICE' and 'DICE'. This new Japanese release, 'SAKU', is anticipated to further broaden his artistic horizons and showcase his evolving musical identity.
