The '2025 CLICK THE STAR K-POP MUSIC FESTIVAL,' held recently at Jarasum Island in Gapyeong, concluded with roaring cheers and resounding success.

Despite temperatures soaring above 30 degrees Celsius, Jarasum Island buzzed with the energy of thousands of fans. The cheers intensified with every performance on the main stage at Jarasum Island Jungdo.

This inaugural festival, 'CLICK THE STAR,' garnered significant attention for its unique lineup, bridging top K-pop idols and legendary trot artists.

Rain, Xiumin, Chung Ha, Ailee, Cravity, tripleS, EVNNE, and EPEX graced the stage alongside trot stars Kim Yeon-ja, Hong Jin-young, Shin Yu, Na Tae-joo, and Yo Yo Mi, delivering a performance that transcended genres and generations.

Over 30 diverse booths were set up throughout the festival grounds, attracting attendees. Popular attractions included food trucks, snack stalls, the official World K-Pop Center booth, the 'Click the Star' audition promotion booth, and an exclusive MD merchandise sales zone.

Notably, limited edition t-shirts and photocards from the MD booth sold out early, becoming must-have items for attendees. Experiential booths also saw long queues, earning praise for offering ample entertainment beyond the stage performances.

"The stage and booths exceeded my expectations. Seeing my favorite artists up close made it an unforgettable day," shared attendee Kim (27). Another visitor, Park (34), commented, "It was my first time at a festival where I could enjoy both K-pop and trot in one place. I came with my parents, and everyone was satisfied."

The organizer, World K-Pop Center, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming turnout at the inaugural event. "We will continue to strive for new endeavors and diverse stages to establish 'CLICK THE STAR' as a representative music festival for K-pop," they stated.

The festival successfully blended K-pop and trot genres, attracting a wide demographic of fans. Holding the event in the natural setting of Jarasum Island added a unique charm. The organizers plan to develop more diverse content, especially for global fans, in the future.
