The track marks a departure from their previous sound, embracing a dynamic hip-hop influence that underscores the group's ambition to push beyond any perceived limitations. Fans worldwide have responded enthusiastically, with comments praising the group's complete package of visuals, vocals, and stage presence. Many noted, "TWS has become a hip-hop powerhouse!" fueling anticipation for their new release.

In a Q&A session facilitated by their agency, Pledis Entertainment, TWS shared insights into 'Head Shoulders Knees Toes.' The full mini-album 'play hard' is slated for release on October 13th at 6 PM.

Young-jae explained the song as a testament to their drive, stating, "'Head Shoulders Knees Toes' is a song where we poured our passion to prove that there are no limits for TWS." He highlighted the explosive energy evident in the performance. Han-jin added, "The intense rhythm makes you want to move naturally, and the chorus is incredibly addictive."

Shin-yu encouraged fans to "witness TWS in a state of passionate intensity, as if we're obsessed with something." Do-hoon suggested enjoying "the escalating sound as the song progresses." Ji-hoon emphasized appreciating "the members' synergy and the grit that comes from being together," while Young-jae expressed their mindset: "We approached this with the thought of tearing up the stage and truly showing what we can do."

Regarding the choreography, Young-jae pointed out the "grandeur and overwhelming energy from the large number of dancers, which is a first for our album promotions." He also noted the subtle differences in facial expressions and nuances for each part. Han-jin highlighted the chorus's signature move, and Do-hoon recommended paying close attention to the powerful dance break in the latter half. Kyeong-min advised looking out for the dramatic shift in atmosphere at the start of the second verse and the 'gunshot' choreography.

Ji-hoon expressed satisfaction in showcasing TWS's technical prowess, mentioning elements like the 'Kip-up' within the dance break. He noted that he had consistently practiced various techniques, confident that TWS would one day deliver such impactful performances. During the recording, Do-hoon focused on perfecting his rap verse in the first part, even practicing during their tour. Kyeong-min, making his rap debut in this song, elaborated on his approach to the second verse's introductory part, aiming for a slightly cynical tone to match the mood shift.

Memorable moments for Ji-hoon included collaborative sessions where members encouraged each other and brainstormed ways to excel, especially given the challenging nature of the performance. Reflecting on their recent first tour, Han-jin felt the power of connecting directly with fans, while Young-jae rediscovered the joy of performing and communicating with their audience. Kyeong-min noted improvements in stamina and stage immersion.

Looking ahead to 'play hard,' Shin-yu described the album as a "stepping stone to showcase even more diverse aspects of ourselves," urging fans to anticipate their expanding musical spectrum.
