Actress Son Ye-jin, who is making her screen comeback after seven years with the film 'Cross My Heart,' has spoken about her husband Hyun Bin's reaction.

During an interview held on the morning of the 23rd at a cafe in Seoul, Son Ye-jin shared her thoughts ahead of the movie's release.

'Cross My Heart' tells the story of Mansu (Lee Byung-hun), a white-collar worker who felt satisfied with his life until he was suddenly fired, and his subsequent battle for re-employment to protect his family. The film, a remake of Donald E. Westlake's novel 'The Hot Rock,' has garnered significant attention not only for director Park Chan-wook's work and Lee Byung-hun's performance but also as Son Ye-jin's return to the silver screen after seven years, following 'The Negotiation.'

Son Ye-jin expressed, "I feel less nervous than usual. I think the director and senior actor Lee Byung-hun bear a greater responsibility. I'm curious about how the audience will receive and view this film. People who came to the Venice Film Festival have immense love for cinema, so I'm eager to see the reaction from the general public."

Her husband, Hyun Bin, attended the VIP premiere the previous day to support her. Regarding this, Son Ye-jin laughed and said, "I don't believe what family or close acquaintances say because they tend to be biased. Although everyone said good things yesterday, I'll have to ask him seriously when I get home. I'm not sure if he'll tell me the truth."

'Cross My Heart' is set to premiere on the 24th.

Son Ye-jin made her acting debut in the 2001 drama 'Delicious Proposal.' Known for her delicate and emotional portrayals, she has become one of South Korea's most beloved actresses.
