Son Heung-min Sells Luxury 'Trimage' Apartment for Over 3 Billion KRW Profit After 8 Years
Football superstar Son Heung-min has reportedly sold his luxury apartment in Seoul's Trimage complex, realizing a profit exceeding 3 billion KRW after an eight-year ownership period.
According to real estate registry data obtained on the 5th, Son sold his 140.3㎡ unit in Trimage, Seongsu-dong, for 5.5 billion KRW in March. He had initially purchased the unit for 2.44 billion KRW in 2017, marking a significant capital gain from his investment.
The apartment Son owned is known for its desirable features, including three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and panoramic Han River views from a mid-level floor in one of the prime riverside buildings. Trimage is renowned for its hotel-like concierge services and premium amenities, making it a sought-after residence among celebrities.
Several notable figures, including actor Kim Ji-hoon, singers Taeyeon and Sunny from Girls' Generation, and Super Junior members Leeteuk, Choi Siwon, and Donghae, have been residents or are currently living in the complex. Notably, J-Hope of the global group BTS also sold his Trimage apartment earlier this year in March for 4 billion KRW.
Despite selling his Trimage residence, Son Heung-min remains a significant figure in Seoul's high-end real estate market. He acquired an apartment in Apgujeong Hyundai in 2016 and recently made headlines for signing a contract for a penthouse at 'Eterno Apgujeong,' with a pre-sale price reportedly reaching 40 billion KRW.
