BLACKPINK member Rosé has achieved a monumental feat, becoming the first K-pop artist to win Song of the Year at the prestigious 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).

She continued, "I happily accept this award as a moment that rewards all my hard work. Teddy oppa, I won the award. BLACKPINK members, I won the award. Thank you and I love you always," she added, touching the hearts of many.

This included nods for Video of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Visual Effects, and Best K-pop for her debut solo album's title track 'Toxic Till The End,' setting a new record for the most VMA nominations by a K-pop artist.
