Im Chang-jung Ignites '2025 KY Cool Festival' as Surprise Guest!

The energy at the inaugural performance of the '2025 KY Cool Festival' national tour in Daegu reached fever pitch with the surprise appearance of veteran singer Im Chang-jung.

On July 7th, at the Daegu EXCO Auditorium, Im Chang-jung joined the '2025 KY Cool Festival National Tour: Heung' as a special guest, electrifying the crowd. He performed a string of his beloved hit songs, amplifying the festival's festive atmosphere to its peak.

Showcasing his exceptional 'trot' vocal techniques and playful choreography with 'I Hate Trot,' Im Chang-jung then transitioned to ballads, delivering a masterclass in emotional delivery and vocal prowess with 'A Glass of Soju' and his new track 'The You I Didn't Want to See, I Miss.' His poignant tone and soaring high notes left a lasting impression on the audience.

Following his stellar performance, Im Chang-jung shared behind-the-scenes photos and stage videos on his Instagram, expressing his gratitude to KY Cool and its members. The '2025 KY Cool Festival' is set to continue its nationwide journey, with upcoming stops in Seoul, Ulsan, Busan, and Changwon.

Im Chang-jung debuted in the film 'The War and the Soldier' in 1990 before launching a highly successful music career with his first album 'Back Then Again' in 1997.
