Kim Byung-man Opens Up His Jeju Island Home, Reveals Joyful Life with Two Children

Comedian Kim Byung-man has given fans a rare glimpse into his newlywed life on Jeju Island, showcasing his home and daily routines with his two children.

During a recent broadcast of TV Chosun's 'Josun's Lover', Kim Byung-man welcomed the production crew into his home. His two young children greeted the team warmly, prompting a lighthearted joke from Kim about his wife possibly frequenting nightclubs. He affectionately described his children as energetic, stating they inherited his 'jungle DNA'.

The interior of the house was filled with baby supplies and toys, a testament to his new role as a father. "This isn't a newlywed home, it's a home with two children," he chuckled, explaining that his shopping habits have shifted from personal items to gifts for his kids.

However, the episode also delved into the challenges faced by his wife, who bravely shared the difficulties of raising their children largely on her own. She confessed that the attention Kim Byung-man receives makes everyday parenting tasks complicated, even preventing them from going to the hospital together when a child is sick.

She revealed the decision to initially hide her pregnancy, stating, "I didn't want the focus to be on me being Kim Byung-man's baby." Tears welled up as she recounted the emotional toll of going through pregnancy and childbirth alone. Despite the hardships, she expressed deep affection for her husband, describing him as kind-hearted and gentle, contrary to his tough public image.

Kim Byung-man finalized his divorce from his previous wife in 2023 and has since married his current partner, with whom he has two children. The couple is planning a small wedding ceremony with close family and friends on the 20th.

Kim Byung-man debuted in 2004 on KBS's 'Gag Concert' and gained immense popularity for his iconic 'Dalin' (Expert) character.

He earned the nickname 'Pro Survivor' for his remarkable resilience and survival skills demonstrated on the show 'The Law of the Jungle'.

Currently, he is embracing his roles as a father of two and a groom-to-be, as he prepares for his upcoming wedding ceremony.
