Song Joong-ki Delighted by 'Youthful Appearance' Compliments: 'I Appreciate It More as I Age'

Actor Song Joong-ki expressed his genuine joy upon receiving compliments about his youthful looks.

In a YouTube episode of 'Narae Sik' aired on the 10th, Song Joong-ki and Chun Woo-hee, stars of the JTBC drama 'My Youth', shared a heartwarming conversation. Park Na-rae treated the two actors to a traditional Korean meal of braised short ribs and soft octopus soup.

Song Joong-ki shared his excitement, stating, "This is my first Korean meal in months since I was overseas. I'm even more thrilled." Hearing this, Park Na-rae seemed a bit flustered and asked, "You must feel pressured, couldn't you have eaten at least some kimchi stew before coming?" However, Song Joong-ki reassured her, "No, it's wonderful."

He further confessed, "This might sound burdensome, but I actually held back a bit because I knew it would be so delicious." He added, "I've only been back for a week. I simply haven't eaten Korean food," revealing his anticipation for the meal.

Song Joong-ki and Chun Woo-hee are working together for the first time in the drama 'My Youth'. Park Na-rae remarked on their similar visuals, saying, "Your visual styles are alike. Even knowing your ages, you both look like you're in your early to mid-twenties."

Chun Woo-hee shyly responded, "That's embarrassing, saying things like that could cause trouble." Song Joong-ki, however, shared, "I guess I'm getting older. Before, I would just sigh at such remarks, but now, I truly appreciate it. Thank you so much," candidly describing his changed reaction to compliments about his age-defying looks.

Born in 1985, Song Joong-ki made his acting debut in the 2008 film 'A Frozen Flower'.

He has garnered immense popularity both domestically and internationally with numerous hit dramas such as 'Descendants of the Sun', 'Vincenzo', and 'Reborn Rich'.
