Leading South Korean OTT platform TVING has significantly boosted its content offerings by integrating live channels from KBS 1TV and KBS 2TV, starting Tuesday the 9th. This strategic move extends TVING's service reach to major terrestrial broadcasters, enhancing its competitive edge in free live channel programming.
TVING has already differentiated itself with its unique 'Binge-Watch Channel' service, which offers continuous 24-hour programming of a single intellectual property. This feature is reserved for beloved classics and trending shows, including popular titles like 'New Journey to the West', 'Three Meals a Day', 'Kang's Kitchen', and 'You Quiz on the Block'.
To celebrate the addition of KBS channels, TVING has launched a new 'Must-Rewatch KBS Content' Binge-Watch Channel. Viewers can now enjoy acclaimed KBS programs such as 'Human Documentary Love', 'History Journal Day', 'Weekend Drama Masterpieces', and historical dramas around the clock. Plans are in place to add more fan favorites like 'Love and War' and '2 Days & 1 Night' in the future.
A key highlight is that both the new KBS live channels and the Binge-Watch Channels are available completely free of charge. This allows everyone to enjoy familiar KBS masterpieces and discover new viewing experiences on the OTT platform without time or location constraints.
