Shocking Scenes Unfold on 'Divorce Camp': Husband's Laughter After Violence Stuns Panelists
JTBC's entertainment program 'Divorce Camp' has stirred outrage among viewers with a deeply disturbing revelation from one of its featured couples.
During the broadcast on the 11th, the story of Park Sung-hyun and Lee Su-joon, a couple married for just 1 year and 8 months, unfolded. Their relationship had deteriorated to such an extent that they had nearly withdrawn from filming the show just before.
A video clip revealed a violent altercation where the husband was seen strangling his wife. What shocked the studio panelists even further was the husband's subsequent phone call with a friend, during which he appeared to be laughing about the incident. Host Seo Jang-hoon vehemently criticized the husband's behavior, questioning his state of mind, while Park Ha-sun expressed disbelief.
The situation took a darker turn when the husband admitted to having committed similar acts of violence even before their wedding. He confessed to restraining his wife with his legs and resorting to physical force days before the ceremony, amplifying the severity of the issue.
In addition to this couple, two other pairs contemplating divorce also shared their stories, adding to the program's somber tone.
Park Sung-hyun, featured on 'Divorce Camp,' has become a focal point of controversy due to his violent behavior towards his wife and his apparent lack of remorse. He has reportedly been living separately for three months following severe marital disputes. Shockingly, he also admitted to prior acts of violence before their wedding.
