Ko Woo-rim, a member of the vocal quartet Forestella, has expressed his feelings upon returning to the KBS2 music show 'Immortal Songs' after completing his mandatory military service. The episode airing today, the 13th, will feature actress Lee Young-ae in a special segment titled 'Actress Lee Young-ae, Immortal Masterpiece,' marking her first variety show appearance on KBS in 30 years.

Ko Woo-rim, who was honorably discharged on May 19th, reminisced about his performance during the 'Immortal Songs' first-half championship celebration stage, which was his first full group appearance post-service. This performance garnered significant attention, exceeding 1.6 million views on YouTube, proving the immense anticipation from fans both domestically and internationally. "It was truly an honor. That stage felt like the beginning of Forestella's second chapter," he shared with gratitude.

Adding to the excitement, Ko Woo-rim also touched upon his marital life with figure skating queen Kim Yuna. Despite being three years into their marriage, he described their relationship as still feeling like a honeymoon phase. "It's actually better. It feels like our bond is gradually growing stronger, making these days even more wonderful," he beamed, eliciting envy from others. He further revealed that Kim Yuna is an avid viewer of 'Immortal Songs,' especially tuning in for Forestella's performances. She encouraged him before his recent competition, telling him to perform with confidence as he usually does, which helped him feel at ease.

During the broadcast, fellow Forestella member Cho Min-kyu is set to entertain with a humorous reenactment of a famous scene from the drama 'Dae Jang Geum' in front of Lee Young-ae. Forestella will also deliver a beautiful rendition of Yang Hee-eun's song 'Flower Vase' as a tribute to Lee Young-ae. The special will also feature performances by Hong Kyung-min, Cha Ji-yeon & Kim Da-hyun, Yuk Joong-wan Band, W24, and STAYC, each presenting songs inspired by Lee Young-ae's filmography.

'Immortal Songs' airs every Saturday at 6:05 PM KST on KBS 2TV.

Ko Woo-rim married figure skater Kim Yuna in October 2022. He completed his military service and was discharged in May 2023. In addition to his activities with Forestella, he is also actively pursuing a career as a musical actor.
