
Lee Seung-hwan Announces End of 35-Year Band Activities: 'Will Continue Until November'
Veteran singer Lee Seung-hwan has officially announced that his band, 'Lee Seung-hwan Band,' will conclude its activities at the end of November, marking the end of a 35-year musical journey.
In a heartfelt message posted on his social media account early on the 14th, Lee Seung-hwan shared, "After finishing a concert and returning home, I prepare for another one. I've lived this way for 35 years. I will only live this way until November."
This announcement follows a previous statement made on the 1st of the month, where he stated, "We will be active as 'Lee Seung-hwan Band' only until November. It was a long-held thought." He had already hinted at the band's conclusion during the 'Lee Seung-hwan Band Last Fan Meeting' held in August of last year. Now, he has provided a specific timeframe for the farewell.
Since his debut in 1989 with his first album 'B.C 603,' Lee Seung-hwan has performed countless concerts with his band, connecting deeply with his audience over the past 35 years. Fans have expressed their sadness and regret upon hearing the news but have also sent messages of support, saying, "We will support and cheer for you no matter what," and "Since it's the end for 'Lee Seung-hwan Band,' we look forward to your activities as 'Lee Seung-hwan.'"
