Broadcaster Daniel Lindemann and television personality Jun Hyun-moo shared their heavy hearts as they remembered Ukrainian friends who became casualties of the ongoing war.

The MBC documentary program 'Reasonable Architecture - Space Traveler' aired an episode on the 16th focusing on 'dark tourism,' tracing the remnants of war, genocide, and division in Berlin.

Daniel Lindemann revealed with deep sorrow, "The war in Ukraine is still ongoing, and two of my friends have fallen in battle. Denis and Poli, friends I used to meet several times a week, I hope their names are remembered by future generations."

Jun Hyun-moo also confessed a heartbreaking memory, stating, "The friend who used to update us on the Ukraine war news while I was working on the same program with Daniel was Denis. To hear that the person who urgently told us to be careful fell in battle in less than a month was shocking."

He continued, "That's when I truly realized the war is not history but a current reality, happening right now."

Visiting the 'Holocaust Memorial' on-site in Berlin, the cast reflected on how architecture serves to commemorate tragedy.

The program then shifted to Korea, showing the UN Memorial Cemetery in Busan. Jun Hyun-moo recalled American veterans he met during his time with KATUSA, vowing, "We must not forget them."
