Actor Son Seok-gu has publicly addressed the issue of an impersonating social media account.

On the 18th, Son Seok-gu shared a screenshot of the fraudulent account on his own social media, making a polite request to the account operator. He stated, "I kindly ask that you remove the blue tick, recognizing that such impersonation could cause potential harm to myself and my partners, and clearly state the purpose of your account."

He further explained, "Although we already notified you via DM through our company, you blocked us, which is why I am compelled to make this public request." He added, "If there are any other impersonating accounts that I am unaware of, I ask for your cooperation as well! I hope everyone has a pleasant day."

The shared screenshot shows an impersonating account that has acquired a blue tick verification and boasts 64,000 followers. The situation, where Son Seok-gu himself lacks a blue tick, has garnered sympathy from his fans.

Son Seok-gu debuted in the 2016 film 'Black Money.' He delivered memorable performances in dramas such as 'Matrimonial Chaos,' 'Be Melodramatic,' and '100 Days My Prince.' His roles in the Netflix series 'D.P.' and the film 'The Roundup' significantly boosted his public recognition.
