Actor Kim Young-kwang has announced his impactful return to the small screen with the KBS 2TV weekend drama 'A Day of Happiness'.

This year marks a particularly busy period for Kim Young-kwang. Following critical acclaim for his multifaceted performance in the Netflix series 'Trigger', he has once again showcased a different side of his acting prowess in 'A Day of Happiness', which premiered yesterday (20th). With the film 'First Ride' also slated for release on October 29th, his continuous acting endeavors are highly anticipated.

'A Day of Happiness', which aired its first episode on the 20th, depicts a dangerous partnership between Kang Eun-soo (played by Lee Young-ae), a mother determined to protect her family, and Lee Kyung (played by Kim Young-kwang), a teacher with a double life. Kim Young-kwang takes center stage as Lee Kyung, who works as an art instructor by day and a drug dealer and club MD by night.

As an after-school art teacher at New Woman Middle School, Lee Kyung gains favor with his students due to his warm appearance. He delicately informs parent Eun-soo when he notices one student, Soo-ah, skipping classes and contemplating dropping out. While seemingly embodying 'upright living', Lee Kyung reveals a completely opposite persona at night, shocking viewers.

Lee Kyung's other face, transformed with a stylish look, is James, a drug dealer at the famous Gangnam club 'Medusa'. Upon discovering his double life, Eun-soo proposes a risky collaboration. Lee Kyung's shocked and bewildered reaction signals the beginning of a new chapter in the story.

Kim Young-kwang perfectly embodies the duality of Lee Kyung, kicking off 'A Day of Happiness' with a bang. He seamlessly navigates between the 'perfect son' image and his darker alter ego, fully portraying Lee Kyung's contrasting charms. His signature natural pacing and acting skills support the suspenseful double life, heightening curiosity about his hidden story.

Kim Young-kwang debuted as a fashion model in 2008 and has since built a consistent acting career. He has gained widespread popularity for demonstrating a broad acting spectrum across various genres. Notably, he recently delivered impressive performances in the Netflix series 'Trigger' and the film 'Where Your Eyes Linger'.
