Fans were treated to a special announcement video uploaded on the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel on September 22. In the clip, the members transform into a film crew named 'TEAM THE ACTION.' The video playfully depicts them seeking filming locations, ultimately deciding on Chicago after a dart toss, where they discover a film festival and aspire to become directors.

Adding a layer of intrigue, the members are seen wearing hoodies emblazoned with 'TEAM THE ACTION.' These are the same outfits they wore when departing for Lollapalooza Chicago in August, cleverly connecting their real-life activities with the album's concept. 'The Action' marks BOYNEXTDOOR's first release in approximately five months since their fourth mini-album, 'No Genre,' which achieved back-to-back million-selling records and four consecutive entries on the Billboard 200 chart.
